Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta introduces heavy fine for people who get caught from buying stuffs from illegal hawkers at Monumen Nasional (Monas) compound. The fine is Rp20 million (US$1750) or two-month jail sentence.

The committee of national examination for high school students was heavily criticized for putting questions on Joko Widodo at several subjects, Bahasa Indonesia and English. Joko Widodo is currently the Jakarta governor who happens to be a presidential candidate.

Members of public in Bengkulu Province reported that they had been intimidated by a man who recently failed to become a local lawmaker after the legislative election. He spent lots of money to bribe people to vote him and now wants his money back from them by force.
